Small Seller Parcel Packing Guide
Standardise a packing method around your actual orders. Record item dimensions and weight, choose the outer pack, then check surface protection, cushioning, void fill, closure and labels. A ready-made kit is useful only when its supplied contents fit your products and route.
Define the order before buying supplies
Measure representative orders and identify fragile edges, surfaces and any special handling needs.
Compare a small set of suitable outer-pack sizes rather than forcing every order into one box. Leave space for the required protection. Ask your carrier for current packaging and acceptance requirements.
Treat the parcel as a protection system
Wrapping, cushioning and void fill perform different jobs; select them alongside the outer carton.
Request material and roll specifications and evaluate a sample pack. Toreso's HoneyWrap and ResellPack entries are proposals without attached transit-test results. A fragile label does not validate the pack.
Make dispatch and returns repeatable
Record the selected materials, closure method and clear shipping-label placement.
Inspect the packed result and revise the method when the order or route changes. If returns matter, confirm the second closure and reuse condition of the actual supplied pack. Pricing and lead time must be quoted, not inferred from a catalogue reference.
